2007: Robert Parker: 95/100 | Wein-Plus: 95+/100 | Meininger's German Pinot Prize 2021: 1st place in category IX - residual sweet & noble sweet (95/100)
Amber-coloured with golden reflections, the wine from the “Kult” series opens up with a diverse range of facets such as honey, wood, almond and brizzle. On the palate, this Trockenbeerenauslese is characterised by sweet tastes of honey, lime blossom and its animated acidity reminds you of lemon and grapefruit. Quite a surprise on the palate: elegant acidity refreshes the fruity sweetness, together with mature notes, an amazingly smooth taste with an extensive length and harmony unfold on the palate.

A sweet pleasure rounded up with notes of nuts and fruits
Very warm winter, a single frost night with -2°C, very sunny, summery spring, summer 2007 ends in early May, extremely early vine bloom at the end of May, very humid and also cool weather phase that slows down vegetation until the end of August. From early September, Californian conditions return with bright blue days and cool nights. The botrytis that started in the humidity at the end of August dries out in the following weeks to yield dream results. Very early start to harvesting on September 8, ending on October 18 after almost 6 weeks of harvesting under blue skies. First attempts at organic viticulture.
