2023: Wein.Plus (Marcus Hofschuster): 100/100 "Deep, multi-layered and very concentrated aroma of dried pome and stone fruit, citrus fruits, caramel, some coffee, dried citrus peel and nuts with hints of tobacco. Concentrated, juicy, very sweet and brilliantly pure fruit with yellow and ethereal spice, taut, almost vibrant acidity and candy notes, persistent and very complex on the palate, reminiscent of pickled apricots, some ginger and saffron, smoky traces, enormous depth, still very young but already irresistible, delicate bacony notes in the background, lots of salt, candied citrus peel, noble aromatic bitterness, very long, multi-layered, juicy, again extremely concentrated finish with tension and finesse. A dream.” & Award: "Favorite wine” | Gault&Millau: 5/5 red grapes (maximum rating - unique, outstanding) | James Suckling: 100/100 "Gigantic nose of dried mangoes with porcini mushroom complexity. Off the scale concentration on the mouth-filling palate, but the supernaturally vibrant acidity make this a breathtaking wine. Totally brilliant finish that, in this embryonic phase of the wine’s development, is overwhelming, but that gives this TBA masterpiece titanic potential. Extremely limited production. Drinkable now, but best from 2028."
2018: James Suckling: 98/100 Points "Golden in color, this offers very, very vibrant orange marmalade and apricot conserve, as well as dried mango. Staggering acidity here. The fruit is so pure with peach and mango conserve in super sweet mode and bracing acidity. So intense that it is confrontational now and needs a lot of time to settle. This is one of the wines you can most easily age in the cellar. Dried apricot finish, seared by 18 grams per liter of acidity. From organically grown grapes. Drink now, but better after." (Top 100 Wines of Germany 2019) | RESTAURANT WINE® Issues #190-193: 5/5 stars "Terrific! The 2018 Rieslaner TBA is an extraordinary wine: ultra-rich and light bodied, it is luscious and yet very crisp and long on the palate, with a kaleidoscope of flavors (peach, orange marmelade, rose petal, honey, candied lemon, sage), and a very persistent finish. The best-ever Rieslaner we have tasted. Can be aged for decades. Organic. [2035-2065]"
