Tasting Note
The Neustadt "V" Weissburgunder impresses with an elegant, mineral nose with flint notes and juicy fruit, including pear, apple, almond, honey, and lime zest. On the palate, it displays lively fruit, fresh acidity, and an elegant structure thanks to the light tannins. The finish is long, salty, and precise. The shell limestone soil lends it minerality and freshness.
Awards
2024: James Suckling: 95/100 "The red apple aromas make this dry pinot blanc stand out, but it is also a sleek and very fresh wine with an almost alpine personality. Super-focused, medium-bodied palate, then a very long, racy finish with great precision. The first vintage of this wine."
