Radiant, in a bright copper red. A potpourri of red berry fruits. Flavours of wild strawberries and raspberries. Wonderfully juicy, fresh, with much enamel on the palate. Our four-season Rosé: In spring with asparagus. In summer for a picnic. In autumn with a quiche and in winter with a hearty Tarte flambée. "Berry" best!
2019: Ronn Wiegand: 4+/5 "An excellent wine and a great value, this Pinot Noir Rose is medium orange-pink in color, fragrant and very distinct in aroma/flavor (strawberry, rose petal, cherry), moderately intense, well balanced, and quite long on the finish. Has a hint of tannin."
Fresh light red fruits, elegant
A small summer already in February, but with record temperatures. In March, there is snow and moisture, cool in April, cold in May, two weeks of summer in the second half of June with perfect conditions for vine flowering. A very wet phase from June to mid-July, the summer is mixed and cool until the end of August, then warm nights with very positive ripening spurts. On September 21, a comparatively late start to the grape harvest. Good and warm weather allows the main harvest to end on October 19.
